Typischer Fehler
Das „with“ verändert alles: „go through“ heißt durchmachen oder durchgehen — „she went through a hard year“, „let's go through the numbers“ —, während „go through with“ bedeutet, etwas Geplantes trotz Zweifeln wirklich zu tun. Dreiteilig und unteilbar: „I went through with it“, nie „went it through with“. Das Objekt ist fast immer eine Entscheidung, ein Plan oder eine Drohung.
